The prepress department is the important link between design and printing. Here all files are prepared, checked and optimized to ensure error-free production.
The purpose of prepress is to make creative ideas technically feasible and to ensure a perfect end result.
Possibilities within the prepress department:
• File check and layout: Checking supplied files for resolution, use of color, fonts and bleeds to prevent technical problems in the printing process.
• Color management: Adjusting colors so that they appear consistently and accurately on different materials and printing techniques.
• Test prints: Digital delivery of test prints so that the customer can assess the end result in advance.
• Adapt for various printing techniques: Preparing files for offset printing, digital printing, large format or packaging printing.
Thanks to the prepress department, creative designs are translated into technically perfect print files. This reduces the chance of errors, saves time and costs, and ensures that the end product always meets the highest quality standards.
