“Asparagus packaging” Gusset pocket

Idea:

We wanted to give out a gift for our relations in the spring during the asparagus season. The choice fell on a kilo of asparagus from Limburg soil.

In order to package the asparagus in a suitable manner, we have chosen to produce a sample business envelope. The size of the packaging is perfectly matched, so that the kilo of asparagus fits properly.

The asparagus is packaged with a “taste spring” recipe booklet so that our customers can immediately prepare something tasty.

The special thing about this packaging is that the material is made of asparagus paper. The peel waste from the asparagus is used as a raw material for this.

The paper is produced using traditional methods at the De Middelste Molen paper factory

Because this paper is very difficult to print, we opted to print and punch a label in a nice shape. This was devised together with the Wihabo printing company in Geffen. The whole is closed by means of a Japanese closure.

We received photos from various relations of what they prepared from our asparagus. Our mouths are watering.
